Our chosen charity for 2026 is Let’s Farm, a real working farm for people with learning disabilities in Cheshire. After the success of the 2025 events, we currently have three already confirmed, supporting this charity, scheduled for the year – others may follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Romulus Gala<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A one day event to celebrate these popular 7.25″ gauge steam locomotives, on Sunday 8 February<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandiway Scampers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being held on Saturday 16 May <\/strong>and Sunday 17 May<\/strong>, with several Scamps (and maybe some of their friends). There are three Scamps whose home track is at Sandiway, and visitors expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuddington Gala<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Sunday 6 June<\/strong> we take our portable track to Norley Road Playing Field in Cuddington for its annual Gala. We will be running between 12:00 noon and 4:00 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charity Gala<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our biggest event of the year, on Saturday 26 June <\/strong>and Sunday 27 June<\/strong>. Anything goes – including plenty of visiting steam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, we hope to run another October Gala, but this is currently in only the early stages of planning. You can find out more about the February event in a separate post; nearer the time, further details about the Sandiway Scampers and Charity Gala events will appear on our website.
