Amy Wilkinson, the Events and Community Fundraiser at the Joshua Tree, popped over to Sandiway Miniature Railway to collect the proceeds of MCSME’s July’s Charity Gala. A total of £515 was raised during the weekend, which will all go to the work of the Joshua Tree. When a child is diagnosed with cancer, it can be a frightening experience for the whole family. Based in Dalefords Lane, a short walk from the railway, the Joshua Tree provides emotional and wellbeing support to children and their families at diagnosis and beyond. A big “thank you” to all who attended or contributed in any way to the success of the weekend.
