50th Anniversary Gala – what a weekend!

Our Charity Gala, marking fifty years of the Mid Cheshire Society of Model Engineers, was opened by Kim Smith, of Radio Northwich and charity Simply The Breast.

The weekend was a fantastic success – many thanks to all who came along and contributed in any way, and especially to everyone who rode on a train, paid a fare, put a donation into a bucket! Thanks to your generosity, over £500 was raised for our chosen charity, Simply The Breast (fundraising for Mid Cheshire Hospitals).

Wet weather on Saturday morning didn’t dampen Kim’s spirits as she drove Scamp 49 in the opening parade and cut a ribbon to declare the event open.
