Our chosen charity for 2026 is Let’s Farm, a real working farm for people with learning disabilities in Cheshire. After the success of the 2025 events, we currently have three already confirmed, supporting this charity, scheduled for the year – others may follow.
Romulus Gala
A one day event to celebrate these popular 7.25″ gauge steam locomotives, on Sunday 8 February.
Sandiway Scampers
Being held on Saturday 16 May and Sunday 17 May, with several Scamps (and maybe some of their friends). There are three Scamps whose home track is at Sandiway, and visitors expected.
Charity Gala
Our biggest event of the year, on Saturday 26 June and Sunday 27 June. Anything goes – including plenty of visiting steam.
In addition, we hope to run another October Gala, but this is currently in only the early stages of planning. You can find out more about the February event in a separate post; nearer the time, further details about the Sandiway Scampers and Charity Gala events will appear on our website. Save the dates and/or get in touch if you are interested in attending; we would be particularly pleased to hear from anybody who wishes to bring a locomotive or stock to any of these events.
